1st Gender & STEM Network Conference
5 – 6 September 2012, Haarlem, the Netherlands.
Host: VHTO
The first Gender and STEM Educational and Occupational Pathways and Participation Network Conference was held on 5 & 6 September 2012 in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Professor Jacquelynne Eccles from the University of Michigan launched the network at the conference. More than 80 researchers and policy makers who are concerned with the subject attended the symposia. The conference brought together academics, teachers, policy makers, experts and the public to explore the missing pieces of the ‘jigsaw puzzle’: what do we not yet know that we need to, concerning girls/women and STEM?
